With the
help of a Hex-editor you can serve and run very fast indeed...
In the file named "chars" you will find that the first five two-digit
numbers represent the five stats for the player " Dressel ". They
don't match the exact numbers of that players stats in the game,
but try giving your favourite players identical figures with the
option- menu in the game that lets you manipulate each players
stats. By doing this you will see five identical two-digit-figures
in the "chars"-file, and thereby change his/her figures as you
wish. I recommend that you change the stats for speed, dive-recovery,
and serve-speed to "FF", and the other two to no more than "99".
Every sliced ball will hang in the air for a few seconds, before
slowly disappearing in a wide arc out into the audience... The
dive-length also makes the player dive head-long THROUGH the sides
of the court, and this made the game rather silly... The players
then stood waiting for the ball, which had disappeared. All in
all, save your "chars"-file first, before you play with the hex-editor
!
